IAAPA - América Latina / Caribe

 

IAAPA seeks students, recent graduates and young professionals with outstanding customer service skills to be volunteer interns at the 2022 IAAPA Summit: Latin America, Caribbean to be held April 25-27 in Foz do Iguazu, Brazil, the premier event for parks and attractions professionals in Latin America.

 The elements of the program include:

• Event Management: Working with the IAAPA team and on-site vendors to oversee the event program. 

• Education Program: Working with the IAAPA team to conduct the on-site logistics for the education program. 

• Trade Show Support: Working with the IAAPA team to support Trade Connections logistics. 

• Behind the Scenes Educational Tours: Working with the IAAPA team to conduct the onsite logistics for the educational tours. 

• Social Program: Working with the IAAPA team to conduct the on-site logistics for social functions, including the ability to network with other peers in the industry and connecting with facility operators in the amusement and attractions industry. 

IAAPA provides:

 • An unforgettable experience 

• In-depth knowledge of the industry 

• Valuable business connections and networking opportunities 

• Shared housing at Mabu Thermas Grand Resort for ambassadors not residing in Foz 

• Breakfast and lunch on April 25, 26 and 27. Dinner on April 25 and 26 

• Access to the main attractions in Foz do Iguazu

Successful IAAPA Ambassador applicants will offer: 

• Enthusiasm and initiative

• Hard work and full dedication of their time during this event, including a training session on April 24, all day April 25 and 26, and until 5pm on April 27. 

• Professional appearance and "can do" attitude 

• Outstanding customer service skills and experience 

• Transportation to and from Foz do Iguazu if needed

Requirements to apply as an IAAPA Ambassador: 

• Must be 18 or older on or before the first day of the program 

• Must speak fluently at least two of the following languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish 

• Background or current studies in hospitality, event management, engineering, journalism, or related subjects, or work experience in the industry
